Rainbow Info Expo

 

Queer 101 is an information workshop facilitated by Dr. Woodman.  It provides a foundation for learning about general information that affects members, family, and friends of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community members. It is an interactive session designed to answer your questions.

Two sessions will be available at 10am and 1pm.

There will also be multiple booths providing information about community service groups and organizations.

We will be meeting at City Hall at 8:45am to witness the raising of the Pride Flag at 9am.

The Grand Theatre will be hosting a movie day showing two films, Cloudburst and I Know A Place.

There will be an cash bar and food available.

A $5 donation would be appreciated.

Pride Walk

 

We will be meeting up in the Bushplane Museum's parking lot and walking along the hub trail to our Loud & Proud event at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion.

Everyone is welcome! 

Wear your rainbows, bring your flags, come in street clothes.  Everything goes!

Join us for a family fun filled day!

This inclusive to all event will be an amazing day of photo opportunities, crafts, art, balloons, food and great music!

Bring the kids down to enjoy our wonderful children's area full of fun activities.

The Gnarly Bistro food truck(click for menu) will be there with delicious food choices to please everyone.

Enjoy the live music while taking a relaxing break from all the festivities.

Local artisans will be there to show you their amazing talents.

The fabulous Gia Diamond (click for Gia's page) will be on site showing her wares and available for photos.

Community service organizations will be in attendance to showcase their services to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community and their family and friends.
